We exist to bring glory to GOD in the community of San Marcos, throughout the I-35 corridor, and around the world by drawing the lost to Christ, and those in Christ to maturity, that they may spread this mission throughout the world, until His return.

What to expect on Sunday Morning
We meet weekly in the chapel at the San Marcos River Retreat
on the San Marcos River.

Our service is casual and family focused.

 

After driving through Pecan Park Campground you'll park in the grassy area to your right, then walk into the chapel building where you'll be greeted by friendly people and good coffee. Dress is casual, and worship begins @10:45. Worship is a mixture of contemporary praise choruses and traditional hymns. At 3 Rivers we believe Jesus is worshiped whenever a heart longs to be near him, so we use the full breadth of music through the ages to do this. There is such rich power in the lyrics of the hymns of old. There is also a vital intimate yearning expressed in contemporary praise choruses that can not be overlooked.

After a few songs in worship we make time for community prayer. We believe strongly in prayer and take the time in worship to ask the LORD for what we need and intercede for a hurting world. We've seen multiple direct answers to prayer, from jobs being granted, to physical healings, to quick renewal of the sick. The Holy Spirit is indeed alive and powerful on earth to heal!

Our Pastor recently resigned his position because the LORD has moved his family into a new season. However, 3 Rivers is blessed with capable speakers and teachers and a loving body who know his Word and his heart. So, as we form a Pastor Search Committee, we are excited to see what the LORD has in store for us both now and in the days to come.

All in all we are a community focused on loving GOD, loving each other and learning to serve the world with a heart like Jesus. We are excited about seeing GOD's Kingdom increase on earth as it is in Heaven. Please come join us on the River.
